ASTCCJC Delegation Returns to Taiwan for Courtesy Visits with Central Government Officials

represented ASTCCJC and joined 38 senior delegation members from 19 Asian countries on a visit to Taiwan’s central government.

The President expressed his sincere appreciation and high regard for the outstanding contributions of Taiwanese business communities across Asia, recognizing their long-standing commitment to overseas markets, active creation of business opportunities, and continued efforts to promote Taiwan internationally.
During the visit, the delegation also met with several key government ministries and institutions, including:
Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Cynthia Kiang and her team; Legislative Yuan Vice President Johnny C. Chiang and legislators from the bipartisan Taiwan Business Friendship Association; Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung and his team; Minister Hsu Chia-ching of the Overseas Community Affairs Council and her team; Taiwan External Trade Development Council Chairman James C. F. Huang; and Taipei Exchange Chairman Philip Chen.
In addition, the delegation visited the

where members held in-depth discussions with Chairman Thomas Wu and representatives of the association.
The two organizations also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), committing to further strengthen economic, trade, and healthcare industry connections across Asia and laying a more solid foundation for future cooperation.
Chairman Thomas Wu, who also serves as Chairman of Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holding, was warm and approachable throughout the meeting. He noted that many young successors and entrepreneurs have joined the association in recent years and expressed his hope that ASTCCJC could engage in more exchanges and collaborative opportunities with its young members, further strengthening connections across generations and industries.
